Industries

The sectors we know best

What transfers between industries is the operational craft. What does not is your commercial context — which is why the first conversation is mostly us listening.

Does it matter whether an events agency knows your industry?

Partly. The logistics of moving a group are much the same in any sector. What differs is the commercial cycle a programme has to fit, the compliance rules on what may be offered, and the internal politics of who qualifies — and those are worth an agency understanding before it proposes anything.

Where our work comes from

Six sectors, and the pattern in each

PLACEHOLDER — confirm this list against your actual client base and adjust. It is written from the clients named on this site and the business proposal.

Manufacturing & industrial

Distributor and dealer incentives, long-service recognition, and conferences that bring a dispersed sales network into one room. Often the hardest group to get away at the same time, which makes the planning the whole job.

Motor retail & automotive

Dealer group incentives tied to units or margin, manufacturer launch events, and hospitality for franchise partners. Qualification periods usually follow the plate-change cycle rather than the calendar.

Construction & building products

Merchant and specifier incentives, site-team recognition and trade hospitality. Groups that respond to something they would not book themselves.

Financial & professional services

Partner and adviser conferences, client entertaining where the compliance position matters, and reward trips with a tax treatment finance will want settled in advance.

Insurance

Broker incentives, network conferences and annual awards. Recognition programmes here tend to be long-running and highly visible internally.

Technology & software

Sales kick-offs, President’s Club trips and partner summits. Fast-growing headcounts mean numbers move between the brief and the departure, so the arrangements have to flex.

Companies including Bridgestone, Crown Paints, Assurant, Lookers and Arnold Clark have trusted us with programmes across these sectors.

Questions

The things people ask

Do you specialise in one sector?
No, and we would be wary of an agency that claimed to. What transfers between sectors is the operational side — group logistics, supplier relationships, the on-the-ground running. What does not transfer is your commercial context, which is why the first conversation is mostly us listening.
Our industry has compliance rules on hospitality. Can you work within them?
Yes. Several of our clients work under codes that restrict what can be offered to customers, what must be declared, and what a recipient may accept. Tell us the constraints at the start and we will design within them rather than proposing something you then have to unpick.
Can you handle a dispersed or field-based team?
That is most of what we do. People joining from several offices or from the road, arriving on the same afternoon, is a logistics problem rather than a travel-booking one — and it is exactly the part clients tell us they were losing days to internally.
What if our sector is not listed?
The list above is where most of our work has come from, not a limit. The question that matters is what the trip or event is for, not which SIC code you sit under.
