Why it works for an incentive

Guinness, four-leaf clovers and maybe even a leprechaun. The bustling streets of historic Dublin hold a wealth of delightful experiences, and the flight is short enough that a two-night trip does not lose a day at either end.

A three-day shape

Day one. Arrive and transfer privately to the hotel. Check in, then explore the history and culture of the city on a guided electric bike tour. Evening meal in the famous Temple Bar neighbourhood.

Day two. Breakfast, then the Guinness Storehouse — the home of Ireland’s most famous export — where the group learns to pour a perfect pint. Back to the hotel and free time. In the evening, Johnnie Fox’s for Irish food, traditional dancing and music.

Day three. Out of the centre into Wicklow, the garden of Ireland, to the Powerscourt Estate — grounds, waterfall and distillery. Dinner with an exclusive gin tasting.

What to watch

Dublin fills up around rugby internationals and the bank holidays. If your dates are flexible, avoid a Six Nations weekend unless the rugby is the point — in which case, that is a different and very good trip.
